Mak got in the construction business right from the foundation literally. With a back ground in Business Administration, general management I joined a civil engineering & material testing company in 1991 where I conducted concrete inspections on projects of all sizes. Some of my work included expansion projects at The University of BC, Simon Fraser University, Furry Creek Golf Course, various malls in the lower mainland, and water reservoirs. These projects included conducting concrete inspections, lot compactions and compaction testing on concrete samples. It was working in the field that sparked my interest into the residential building trade.
I’ve been in the residential building trade since 1992 and have been building quality homes throughout the lower mainland since.

At a young age, my dad introduced me to the construction industry; I worked alongside him around new buildings, and homes, gaining invaluable experience at an early age.
In 1991 I finally decided to pursue a career in the construction industry and since then I have been keeping myself educated in the field. I thoroughly enjoy what I do, as it gives me joy when I build a quality home for one’s family.
I currently hold 3 red seal tickets from BCIT in, gas, plumbing, and electrical. I have also been keeping myself educated in other building-related education.
Having the experience that I hold now, gives me confidence in providing my services to my clients. Managing the construction trades, and the building costs are of my utmost priority for my clientele. I like to provide updates, project progress while keeping the project on track and not compromising the quality of the job so my clients can be assured that they’re in good hands. Maintaining a good relationship with the companies and wholesalers is very important to me as this keeps any project moving steadily. I also specialize in high efficiency and low carbon footprint homes. In this day and age with the high costs of living, a high-efficiency home can lower the costs of utilities and overall running costs of the home.
